How much does paddy drone spraying cost?

It depends on area, job and location. We send a written quote once we have the details.

Does a spray drone need a permit?

Yes. Agricultural UAS operations need a CAAM Aerial Work Certificate under CAD 6011 Part (II). See the regulations page.

Can you use subsidised fertiliser?

Yes, if it is in a form that suits the spreader. We follow the recommended rate.

Can drones broadcast seed?

Yes, for direct seeding. We calibrate on a test plot first.

Which pesticides can be used?

Products registered with the Pesticides Board that carry a UAS recommendation, as listed by the Department of Agriculture.

What if it rains after spraying?

We watch the weather and postpone if rain is expected. Re-spray terms are covered in the quote.
